Chris Conway talks career, Micko and explains what Laois can do to compete again. By Steven Kelly.   Chris Conway grew up in the small parish of Arles, which is located close to the Carlow border. Much like any kid, he aspired to play inter-county football and is a man who has had his fair share of difficulties along the way. Conway has won various club and county honours. He was part of the 1996 Laois minor team that got the better of a fancied Kerry team. He won a Leinster senior football winners medal in 2003, but unfortunately missed the team's victory over Kildare after a groin tear. He also has a Laois senior football county medal, with his club Arles- Kilcruise. So how did Chris get involved with GAA in the first place? “I grew up watching the great Portlaoise team.
